Depending on the complexity of your requested project, the brand development process can last a minimum of 14 days, or extend to 30 days. Brand and web-based projects can amass up to 2 months of work or more, given the intensive attention that they require.
* * * * All of these durations factor around multiple items, like my booking schedule, number of revisions and client response time.* * * *
1. First Consultation
When you contact me with an inquiry, I’ll need detailed information regarding the type of project that you are requesting, including your vision for the end result and the ideas you want to integrate in it. At this point, I can provide you my professional ideas for your site and an estimated timeline. Once our discussion is complete, both you and I will have a united understanding of the final result and the expectations that you have for your project. I will provide you with a questionnaire, if needed, where you can add additional information for your project.
2. Outline
I’ll send you a quote based on our discussions and upon your review of the scope of the project and agreement of the terms, you can sign and scan it, then send it to me via email. At that point, you’ll need to make an initial payment via PayPal to book your order in my queue. Depending on the project total, I can allow multiple payments to be made in order to cover the total cost.
3. Scheduling
After finishing the payment and having a signed contract, I will create a schedule for the project, which includes the whole process from start to finish. I will provide the schedule for your website content gathering and branding details that you need to provide me before we start.
4. Client Homework
The branding questionnaire helps me understand your needs and expectations, while also ensuring that we are on the same page. I’ll also create a Pinterest board for you, as well as send you a Dropbox link where you can deliver me the necessary content, as this makes the whole process a lot more convenient.
5. Inspiration
Based on your questionnaire and Pinterest board, I will create a MOOD BOARD (including color palette) and if you like it, I’ll provide you the first set of logo variations to review. After the logo has been completed I will create the entire branding board, a process that might take up to 5 days and in which you can see the whole design come to life.
6. Branding Completion
During this phase, I’ll finish the designs and also send you additional marketing materials included in the brand package, to maximize your branding efforts. After this, I’ll send you the invoice for the final payment (the second 50% of final price). The whole look of the site will be completed and I will send you the files via Dropbox.
7. Web Design
After the branding completion, I’ll begin creating the website design and finalize the web content in the Dropbox folder. Depending on the scope of the project, within 5-10 days, I will provide you the website mockup and an interior page that you can review.
8. Follow-up
Once you review the mockup, I’ll initiate a chat with you to assure that your vision is being created as you’d like. At this point, you’ll be able to convey to me any additional information that you’d like to be included on the website, such as press, service, gallery and so on.
9. Interior Design
During this process, I’ll create the interior pages for your site, then send them you for review. You’ll get a free revision from me, as well as the option to perform small changes. This is also when you need to make the final payment.
10. Launch
After the payment has been completed, I will transfer the site to your domain and hosting. I will create a “Coming Soon” page for the transition process, and once that is done you can fully access and control your site. I’ll provide support for a week after the website launch, and if any modifications need to be made after that, they will be billed separately.
PLEASE NOTE: All branding project payments are due in two parts, a 50% non-refundable payment is due prior to work beginning and to hold your spot in the queue. The second half of the project payment is delivered at project completion, before final files are delivered and/or website is launched.
